Take a Stitch on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 Welcome to week 15! (Sort of… remember we are using week numbers to match the original 2012 TAST, and they’ve taken a week off. This is STITCH # 14)
This week’s stitch is Stem stitch. Here is the SharonB’s Stitch Dictionary pages with instructions on how to do it.

There is only one Stem Stitch variation, but we won’t see Outline Stitch in this TAST Challenge. I think it is a good week to once and for all figure out the difference, and SEE the difference between stem and outline! It all has to do with the twist of the thread. Try them both and see for yourself. Maybe its just me that can’t ever remember the names right 😉
